1:41pm What's new this month? Magnum P.I. has gone back into syndication and it is now my favorite show. How much cooler can you get than Magnum P.I.? How can you get any cooler than Hawaii in the 1980's? I wish that Higgins let me drive Robin Master's Farrari. I'm not a big tv watcher, but I now watch Magnum P.I. at 1pm, 5pm, Midnight and 1am. I just bought a bunch of books about how to write for tv. Now I'm writing my first sitcom spec script. For just reading a bunch of books on how to write for tv, I have to say that my spec script is getting pretty good. What did I eat for breakfast?
I had eggs and toast. I am in Sioux Falls, SD right now. Happy after Thanksgiving! I had two shows in Sioux Falls at Nitwits comedy club the night before Thanksgiving. So, Pat and Michelle, the club owners, invited me and Steve Hirst to turkey day with their families. It was really great, except for the Packer's loss. I missed my family, but I still felt great to have such nice people to spend the holiday with. On Thanksgiving night, some of the staff invited Steve and I to go see the movie "The School of Rock." This was my second screening of the film and I loved it even more the second time. Afterwards, we went and shot billiards, and I lost four straight matches. Never play an englishman at billiards. Right now, I'm headed to the Sioux Falls YMCA to throw in a good workout. If you haven't noticed when you have seen me lately, I've been hitting the weights quite hard. I am all chiped out. I am QUAD-zilla. I am PECK-tacular. 11/24/03 2:10pm I'm on a plane right now with Bree. She is asleep and drooling all over the place. No she's not. She's awake and hitting me right now for writing that. We're on our way home from Charlie Goodnight's in Raleigh, NC. If you ever get a chance to go to that club, do so. It is one of the best clubs in the country. Very smart crowds, very smart. Edward from Trading Spaces came out to one of my shows. He is the guy with the pony tail and the southern accent. I guess that he lives in Raleigh. When I met him, I said, "Hey, you're that dude from Trading Spaces. My girlfriend and I are big fans of yours." He goes, "You don't even know my name, do you?" I said, "No, but wanna buy my CD?" Bree later told me that his name is Edward, and she corrected me...we are not big fans of him, we are big fans of the show. And while we are at it, we don't like Frank either. I'd like to trade paint cans with him, just so he doesn't paint anymore rooms coral pink with stencil art. Sorry, my dad is an interior decorator, not gay. I'm just not sure where they found Frank. Clay Aiken was in Raleigh this week. We hate Clay Aiken. Not because of his music or because of his snazzy style. It is because of the parade that they held for him on Saturday morning in Downtown Raleigh. They said that it was the annual Christmas parade, but it was clearly a parade in his honor. At 8am, crowds of people outside of our hotel began chanting, "We want Clay, we want Clay! We love you Clay!" Thousands of little girls were chanting his name...don't they know that Clay Aiken is gay? Silly teenage girls... 11/12/03 9:01am Mom? Mom, is that you? I just installed a webcounter on my site and there has been one person who visits my website from the 608 area code quite frequently. So, hi mom! I'm on a plane right now over Milwaukee Wisconsin, on route to Detroit. I can smell the beer and sausages even up at 3,000 feet! I'm headed to Cleveland and then to Detroit. Cleveland rocks, Cleveland rocks! I'll bet that I run into Drew Carey in the airport. Drew or Dan Grueter, Dan's from there too. Lake Michigan borders Wisconsin. I think that they should rename it Lake Wisconsin. We'll give Michigan a lake somewhere in northern Wisconsin. Sounds like a fair trade to me. My flight was delayed this morning. The woman came on the loudspeaker and said, "...Yeah, the flight is delayed because the plane won't start." She didn't say that they were having mechanical difficulties or that there was a problem with the ignition, "Plane won't start." Darn planes never starting. Can we get a jump? Okay, so does anyone want to advertise on my website? McDonalds? General Motors? Syngenta Crop Protection? I get more page views than www.vegetablegrowersnews.com. 11/10/03 3:38pm As you can see from my last entry below, I update my webpage quite often. I vow to become better about that. Today, I am doing a huge site redesign. I say huge site redesign, assuming that petelee.net is a huge site. Petelee.net is where the world comes for news, information and entertainment. I think that much is clear. What did I eat for lunch today? Macaroni and cheese with hotdogs. Why? Because I still don't know how to make anything else.
